4. Streamlined Reason Code Import

In the Data Management Tab of Spechy, you will find the Reason Code Import feature, designed to simplify and expedite the process of adding and managing reason codes for conversations and tickets. There are three types of Conversation Reason Code Imports available:
1. Conversation Reason Code Import List
This import type allows you to upload a list of conversation reason codes. The import file, typically in Excel format, should contain the title in the first row, followed by the name of the reason code in the first column and the corresponding reason code type in the second column.
2. Ticket Reason Code Import
With this import option, you can effortlessly add reason codes specific to support tickets. The format of the import file follows the same structure as for conversation reason codes.
3. Ticket Reason Code Import List
Similar to the previous import type, this option allows you to upload a list of ticket reason codes, providing an organized way to manage ticket-related reasons.
To ensure a smooth import process, the first line of the Excel file should always be the title, followed by the relevant reason codes and their corresponding types.
Furthermore, you have the convenience of downloading a sample template, which serves as a guideline for properly formatting your import file. This template ensures that your reason codes are correctly categorized and ready for import.
One crucial aspect of the reason code import is the inclusion of the reason code type as an “id.” You can find the reason code type ids conveniently provided, enabling you to match the reason codes with their respective types accurately.
The Reason Code Import feature within the Data Management Tab optimizes the management of reason codes, allowing you to efficiently add, modify, or update reason codes for conversations and tickets. By leveraging this functionality, you can streamline your data processes and enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of your communication management.
